Jake Holden
Lead Developer
Jake Holden is the Lead Developer at Hook, where he merges problem-solving with creativity, bringing designs to life with precision and seamless user experiences. With a passion for both technology and design, Jake’s unique skill set has flourished at Hook, allowing him to grow as a developer and designer. Known for his versatility, he’s a jake-of-all-trades on the web presence, UX/UI design, and branding fronts.
Outside of work, Jake is an adventurer at heart. Whether he’s carving down snowy slopes, crafting in his workshop (one car garage), or diving into a new hobby, he finds joy in hands-on activities. But he’s also a movie buff, with a special place in his heart for rom-coms and coming-of-age films.
Jake’s work ethic is deeply rooted in his faith. He believes that his Creator has given him talents to be used fully, driving him to work hard and hone his skills. Self-taught and driven, Jake looks up to others who share the same self-starting spirit.
As the oldest of six, Jake cherishes family. He’s married to his best friend, Hannah, and together they love exploring Springfield with their bernedoodle, Dottie.
Affectionately known as “Cowboy Jake,” he’s rarely seen without his cowboy boots, which make him feel taller and add a touch of movie-star flair to his everyday look.
Jake’s journey to Hook started years ago, even sending in his resume during college, hoping to land an internship. Today, he’s living that dream, and his goal is to be recognized for his web design excellence, creating sites that not only meet the highest standards but set new ones.
